SPACE HUB is a 19”/3U state of the art immersive processor that lets you build stunning audio experiences in three dimensions. Incorporate up to 128 audio sources, rendered into 128 outputs, to create an evolving, immersive listening experience in any setting.

SPACE HUB is an integral part of SPACE Immersive System Solutions, driving immersive sound in theatres, musicals, houses of worship, live venues, concerts and production studios.

 

The SPACE HUB Control application gives you flexible yet reliable control and monitoring of the SPACE HUB processor. It is optimised for both macOS and Windows, and is easily at your fingertips on your tablet, or on native interfaces. Plugins for your DAW (VST3, AU, AAX and AAX-DSP) make automation and control even more straightforward, and streamline your production workflow.

SPACE HUB Control uses object-based audio production. This means it is not limited to a specific speaker setup; it can be reproduced using diverse configurations from 9 up to 128 loudspeakers. The audio experience you design is portable and flexible to use in multiple venues.

Build your sound within all sizes of audio systems, from tiny, compact systems, all the way through to the largest of stadium productions, with incredible ease. SPACE HUB is totally scalable to suit your needs. Start with 128 inputs and 24 outputs to fit smaller venue requirements, and expand to 48, 72, or a huge 128 outputs. A simple software licence upgrade is all you need to expand the system.

 

Object position is presented to the listener in incredible detail, with a strong sense of reality. Workflow is tantamount to accuracy and with this in mind, our tried-and-tested bespoke tools are provided to fully enable you to perfectly build your audio system.

 

Clever tools are included with your workflow in mind. Create complex designs effortlessly. Use the layout tool to place loudspeakers in a multitude of shapes and arrangements to suit exactly what you need.

The template engine means you can quickly get started, giving you a powerful way of managing sound within the layout system.


 

Flexible system design with System Optimiser

Simple integration with System Optimiser makes it even easier to tailor the sound to your own space.

Measurement microphones can be placed anywhere within the 3D scene. Probes are a smart extension of the measurement microphones that make choosing line array angles stress-free. Link Groups to define how line arrays are connected, and allow electronic filters to be applied to correct for distance and splay angle.

The processor alone is the perfect foundation, but it needs the speaker system to match. 

In a multi-channel immersive system the phase response of every loudspeaker must be 0° to ensure time coherence, improved localization of sound sources and spatial stability. Immersive is only truly possible with phase-aligned sound.

The human ear can detect spatial differences and time differences in stunning detail. Only by reproducing this detail can we provide true, detailed 3D sound.

 

CODA Audio linear-phase loudspeakers  are an essential part of the SPACE Immersive System Solutions. The principal advantages of our compact and revolutionary loudspeakers, which are phase-aligned in the mechanical domain, become even more important in multichannel 3D audio. 

 

Ensuring phase accuracy with no differences in timing between the various loudspeakers, the essential timing information is transmitted to the listener with perfect phase coherency and transient accuracy.
