Overview
The CODA D8 is a 2-way coaxial loudspeaker system designed without compromise to provide a true one point source in a compact package. The cabinet contains a high power 8” woofer and a coaxially mounted neodymium driver with 1.75″ voice coil.
The advanced design aligns the acoustical centres of the transducers to produce a single point source. This unique loudspeaker technology provides a coherent wave front without hot spots. Precise directivity of 90° conical ensures uniform coverage with perfect time alignment between the components.
Supported with a full range of mounting and flying accessories the D8 sets a state of the art solution for almost any high quality, near field installed sound reinforcement applications. Ten M6 threaded points allow various fixing possibilities for U-brackets and wall mounts.
Combined with the U12-Sub or U15 low frequency extension for mobile applications, or U12i-Sub for fixed installations, the frequency response is extended down to 35 Hz.
D8 has been designed to work exclusively with CODA Audio LINUS Loudspeaker Management Amplifiers as an integrated solution for DSP, amplification, network remote control, optimal performance, protection, as well as extensive possibilities for system tuning and monitoring.
